Take the upper panel on the front of your furnace off. On the inside of the panel there usually are diagnostic charts explaining what has taken place. On some furnaces it is important to watch the LED carefully before removing the panel, once the panel is removed it will reset the system. Always turn power off to the furnace before removing the panel for your own safety.

the flashing red light is a flashing diagnostic indicator and will have a code of how many times it flashes .

the codes are inside the top cover - self explanatory .

If you open the bottom cover where the printed circuit board is (which has the red code light on it ) the furnace will shutdown due to a door interlock switch .
