How do I know if my Trane XE90 is an upflow or downflow?

Post created: 2014-08-12 Type of Equipment: Furnace Views: 195

This question was created on the page: https://www.furnacecompare.com/furnaces/trane/xe90.html.

I got this furnace as part of a trade or swap. It was purchased by an elderly woman and was slightly larger than the furnace she was replacing. It was still in the box in the garage having never been installed. (There were many, many expensive, nib items in her possesion)

I know its a trane xe90 and it has ac coils in the bottom of it. The front upper panel has vent grids in it as well.
