I have replaced a pkgd Trane and 2 Carriers in 30 yrs?
This will be the first time I have the option to go to a split unit. Only two contractors will to do it.....Armstrong with the 4shp16lS ..(I told them the best for longevity) and their air handler is Bcs2v. No $ yet. The other is a Bryant 13 seer 213acnao24 with Fb4cnfo24100 inside. No $ yet. I am disabled, 60's, low income and cannot keep replacing these. Told both that longevity of units is a priority. Thank you for any imput. All electric. 1175 sq.' Townhouse. Also looked at the Mitsubishi wall electric, but outside necessary equipment not acceptable to condo by-laws.
