"I have had this unit for 5 years. Every change in seasons it drops off line (display signals defrost, but nothing is happening ) for 6 hours at a time. I have changed sensors 6x and control boards 2x . In constant consult with the vendor and tech support."
This is a bad unit with even worse technical support. I will never buy another one , and I don’t recommend it to anyone. This company now trades as MARS. Don’t just avoid them Рrun away!
"Terrible mini splits!!!"
Bought two mini-splits had them installed by the contractor and nothing but trouble since. Fan motors, remotes not working and doing weird things. My first heat pump was a Fujitsu 14 years not a hitch. The old saying goes you get what you pay for so please pay a little more and learn from my mistakes.
"Comfort Aire Inverter Flex"
Unit kept shorting out had a bad compressor and all boards burnt out. Got a patched up repair and the same thing happened. The manufacturer has refused to stand by the warranty and will not fix it. They do not stand behind their product. Do not use this company!
This unit has kept my house very warm all winter with sub-freezing temperatures. Works great if you install it correctly
"Comfot-Aire 5 head Mini-Split"
Had this unit installed last spring by B&S Heating. The amazing thing about this unit is the ability to only heat the rooms used. Our highest utility bill gas and electric were $113.00 for the summer and we had it cooler than we did with the central air unit it replaced. Our boiler broke down at the beginning of the heating season and I was very glad we had the heat pump. It kept us warm and was cheaper to run(down to mid 30's) than the boiler because we only heated the living area and 1 of three bedrooms. It cost more to install but it will pay for itself in 6-8 years and is well worth it.
