Overview of the GPH14M

The Goodman GPH14M is a discontinued packaged heat pump with an efficiency of up to 14 SEER and 8.0 HSPF. The GPH14M was designed for multi-position configuration. It had an aluminum evaporator coil, copper tube/aluminum fin coils, an EEM blower motor, and a totally enclosed, permanently lubricated condenser fan motor. A liquid-line filter drier helped increase unit longevity. The heavy gauge galvanized steel cabinet had a powder paint finish for protection against the environment. The GPH14M used R-410A refrigerant.

Review:
"GOODMAN SUCKS"
My first Goodman heatpump lasted almost 5 years before compressor broke. My second and last heatpump lasted just over 5 years before outside coil rotted thru and wasted all me Freon. Of course I bought the extended 10 year warranty. Now that is the biggest scam going around, no dealer will fix it for less than $1,900 and Goodman won't service it and will not return my money for the extended warranty. Don't waste your money or time and buy a good system like Trane, Lennox or Bryant. No more Goodmans!!!
