Overview of the RGPH

The Rheem RGPH is a discontinued upflow/horizontal gas furnace designed for closets, alcoves, utility rooms and attics. Models of the RGPH have input rates from 50,000 to 150,000 BTU/hr. and an 80.0%-81.4% AFUE. The patented heat exchanger was constructed of stainless and aluminized steel to prevent corrosion. It featured a direct drive multi-speed blower motor, an insulated blower compartment to reduce noise and energy loss, and a blower compartment door safety switch. The furnace could be installed in either an upflow or horizontal position.

Review:
"900 sq ft home heated in 7 minutes!"
I noticed that there are two sides to all the reviews, half say they are lousy, which many of them was an easy sensor to clean and complained about noise! The other half which I belong to, cleaned the sensor about once every 3 years on avg, and for me, I know the noise of the fan blower is good, it means hot air is flowing baby! If you buy anything but a Rheem, you will feel like you got reemed.
