The Goodman GMV9 is a discontinued variable-speed, two-stage gas furnace. The GMV9 was designed for multi-position installation — upflow, horizontal right or left — and had an efficiency of 93% AFUE. It had an aluminized steel tubular heat exchanger and a hot surface ignition system for maximum efficiency. A variable-speed furnace blower motor and two-speed induced draft blower assembly provided quiet operation. It was suitable for direct vent or non-direct vent applications, and had a bottom or side air inlet. The heavy-gauge steel cabinet was fully insulated and had a baked enamel finish.
