Buderus Furnace Reviews

Our furnace is only 8 years old and our water tank is leaking already. We. Thought the warranted would kick in but apparently our tank was discontinued and no discount is available. We even bought the better model but that didn't help.
"Broke down after 6 years"
Nothing but problems with this unit, installed 2011, multiple issues since then, 2017 cracked boiler block, too expensive to repair and Buderus wants all service receipts and water test to honor warranty, bunch of bs they don't stand behind their product. Bought a Weisman instead.
"Costly piece of crap."
Reading all the reviews I feel it's our story over and over. Spent 8,000.00 on unit and put another 3,000.00 into repairs. I feel the contractor must have gotten a huge bonus for selling this piece of crap. We purchased this in 2008 and have had repairs every year. Now you can't even parts for this unit any more. I would never recommend this unit to anyone or the contractor who put it in. They were unreliable and costly. Every year we have to put more money in it and it still doesn't work right. We would told we need a new system and it's only 8 yrs old.
"Piece of crap"
Gas furnace, 4 years old, more service calls than I can recall. Horrible experience. No one can fix it. Never buy one of these.
"Buderus is crap"
Buderus gas furnace and water heater were put in in 2008 just before we purchased house. We have had at least one service call per winter. In the past 2 weeks, all zone valves, the low water valve, some flue valve have failed and today the authorized Buderus guy found that the ignition wire that starts the pilot light completely burned out and we have to wait 4 days to get one for him to install. We live in the northeast and being without heat and hot water for over 3 weeks is not fun. Next time this piece of crap fails, we're replacing it with a better brand.
