Overview of the TM9V
The Luxaire TM9V is a two-stage, variable-speed gas furnace with an efficiency of up to 96% AFUE. The TM9V is an Energy Star qualified unit and is part of Luxaire's LX line of gas furnaces. The unit's multi-position (upflow, horizontal left or right, or downflow) design, along with a compact 33-inch cabinet height, provides installation flexibility. An electronic hot surface ignition increases fuel efficiency with increased reliability, and a tubular aluminized steel primary heat exchanger and stainless steel tube/aluminum fin secondary heat exchanger provide outstanding heat transfer. Built-in self-diagnostics feature a fault code display for easy troubleshooting, and a 100% shut off main gas valve increases safety. The TM9V is shipped for use with natural gas and easily convertible to propane.

"Newer, more efficient, replace furnace"
The replaced furnace in the home was old and very inefficient, not to mention that through an annual inspection was broken and could not be repaired. The new unit was installed very quickly, taking less space than the original. Ventilation was far better, circulating the air throughout the house to all levels and all rooms. It is also much quieter. I will have to monitor my gas and hydro bills in the coming months to see what kind of savings I will encounter.

Our TM9V was installed by a local Luxaire dealer from Grand Rapids. We did our homework, and there isn't a better value vs. performance system out there that we've seen. We had a Rheem Classic 90+ that I thought was alright prior, but this is on another level. 96% AFUE, 2 stages, a variable speed blower motor, and great looks! Plus, we're going into year 2 and we haven't done anything besides change the filters. It heats and cools very quietly and evenly, plus it's extremely efficient. Make sure you check out the 10-year extended labor warranty. Should anything happen during the first 10 years you have it, you pay nothing for repairs!
Product registration is required within 90 days of installation for maximum warranty coverage. The warranty for the Luxaire TM9V furnace is comprised of the following:
- 5-year Complete Assurance Warranty Pledge
- 10-year limited parts warranty
