"Very satisfied with this furnace"
I installed this furnace 10 yrs ago myself (no experience), except freon connection and charge. Have not had to service this other than filters. Does a great job at heat and ac.

"Furnace is six years old it has been serviced from day one"
Furnace is six years old it has been serviced from day one. Today I was to have it cleaned and it has to have a new Ventor motor. And a collectors box for a six yr old furnace I would say very poor should not have to do large repairs this soon. I was told if Collector box was not replaced my heat exchanger would rust out. Not. I bought the ultra v tech 91 and i'm sorry I wasted my money. I have a two story home, and the little "so-called" force air doesn't reach the second floor. this is the worst piece of crap i've ever seen for a furnace. it's loud, it leaks water out of the pipes in the summer, and gives little heat in the winter. don't waste your money !!! i've only had this furnace 4 yrs.

My home was custom built with our request for a gas furnace. Our builder installed a Ultra v Tech 91 which has been reliable, but sucks for even and consistent heat distribution. We trusted he picked a unit to suit our homes requirements, but have learned shame on us as we should have investigated ourselves to determine what was needed. I will not by another Armstrong unit as I feel they did not give good guidance to our builder. We have since added a coal furnace which heats evenly with no cold spots for a very low cost.

An Armstrong furnace owner asks the professionals on doityourself.com about a problem with his blower motor. One expert says the blower motor may just need lubrication, but add that if it has been running a great deal then the surrounding parts may be damaged. He instructs the homeowner on how to change out the motor, assuming the proper model can be located.
Another Ultra V Tech 91 owner reports trouble with a blower on selfhelpforums.com. In the end, this problem seems to be caused by a loose connection to the circuit board rather than a blocked condensation drain or bad pressure switch.
