"Review of the Weil Mclain boiler model number 383-800-002"
I have had this particular boiler for 2 years and am very satisfied with it. It works quickly and efficiently it was very easy to install and the instructions that came with it were very easy to understand. I currently do not have any dislikes. I would definitely buy the same brand again and would very likely refer it to a friend if they were in need of one. I really like the fact that it came with a 10-year limited warranty, which was very important to me as a homeowner.

"Great boiler to own, eco-friendly, affordable!"
I've owned this Weil-McClain Eco 155 boiler for almost going on one year and I love the thing. It is super energy efficient, quiet, makes hot water fast, and was an affordable competitive price with similar models. I don't really have any complaints about this boiler, as it works great. It's never needed repaired or replaced and I fell like it will last a long time. I would definitely buy this brand again and recommended it to all my friends.
Other ECO Reviews
A common problem with the ECO mentioned on several HVAC forums is constant cycling. A homeowner on doityourself.com asked for advice on an ECO boiler that was constantly cycling. Members on the site had several suggestions, but then the homeowner called Weil-McLain tech support and found that the problem was caused by a burner gasket which needed to be replaced. A consumer on heatinghelp.com asked why his ECO was so inexpensive and was told that it is a bare-bones unit, with just the basics.
The warranty for the Weil McLain ECO boiler is comprised of the following:
- 12-year limited heat exchanger warranty
- 2-year limited parts warranty
Labor costs are not covered by the warranty.
