"Waste of money and time"
Stay away: mine didn't even last 3 years. I installed it new in 2013 and after 3 years it started going in block state (error code bl85) randomly. Called the plumber who installed it and with him we did everything the technical support asked us to do. After replacing various parts (new flow valve, new heat exchanger, new rod) it still didn't work. At the end I just gave up and replaced the entire unit. Called the customer support to know if they wanted to get the old boiler back to see what was wrong. Never heard back! Very very unsatisfied: never again!

"Bad customer relations and poor backing for their products"
I've had numerous problems with unit and a little over a year ago I had a scale control filter installed. It just had a catastrophic leak the lexan cartridge cracked and lost water at a rate of one gallon per 15 minutes. The model is now discontinued so replacement cartridges are not available and as they won't warranty it I am expected to pay for the new redesigned model and pay to have the new one put in by plumber so far I've got over $10k in this thing it works good when it works but no hot water for a week now does not sit well. And having to buy a new model to replace a defective one is outrageous shame on Rinnae noy good customer relations

A post from a homeowner on heatinghelp.com asking for opinions about the E Series had mostly positive responses. There are a couple of posts about the unit's hot water output on the same site, with a mix of positive and negative comments.
