Triangle Tube Prestige Boiler Overview

There is no actual Triangle Tube Prestige boiler series. Instead, the Prestige is a line of three different series.

Triangle Tube Prestige boilers are stainless steel, wall-mount condensing units, and include the Prestige Trimax Solo, which features an efficiency rating of 95% AFUE; the Prestige Trimax Excellence, which features a built-in 14-gallon indirect fired water heater and an efficiency rating of 95% AFUE; and the Prestige Cascade System, which is not a stand-alone boiler but a manifold system which can join 2-5 Prestige boilers.

"Watch out-parts keep breaking"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

I installed the Triangle Tube Prestige combined boiler and domestic water heater in 2013. Since then I have replaced the igniter, the three- way valve (twice), the gas valve, the domestic hot water expansion tank exploded, I had to adjust the water pressure meter and will likely need to replace it soon, and I need to add a filter. When I bought it I did my research and felt this was the best product. However, I am very disappointed. In addition, it is difficult to find a qualified repair company.

"System Failure at 8 Years"

Installed the system in 2011. Eight years later the system failed. Blower failed due to using of a low-cost plastic fan blade on blower unit.

"Dissatisfaction with product"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

I've had this unit for a little over 10 years. Have had constant problems! The first 3-4 years I had at least 3 service calls per year. Wake up in the morning with dropping temps, no hot water, and the furnace in error mode. I did not expect to have to replace both my furnace and water heater after 10 years!! I would never buy or recommend this brand!

"Triangle Tube boiler and HW Tank"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

I have a Triangle Tube Prestige Boiler and hot water tank. They were installed in a newly expanded/rebuilt house 6 years ago. The boiler has failed every single year, and twice in most years. Switches, sensors, parts that have deteriorated, etc. Last year, after only 5 years, the hot water tank began to leak and had to be replaced at a cost of over $2k. Two months later, the sensor on the tank went, leaving us without hot water for days. I've spent an average of $1k – $1.5k every year on this boiler, not including the hot water tank replacement. This review seems similar to others I have read on this site. Triangle Tube products are terrible!
