NY Thermal Trinity Ti Boiler Overview

The NY Thermal Trinity Ti is a high efficiency, Energy Star rated gas boiler with an AFUE of 93.5%. The Ti features a stainless steel gas burner with metal fiber coating and a patented 316L stainless steel condensing heat exchanger. It features a sealed modulation combustion system with hot surface ignition. The unit comes equipped with an outdoor sensor for automatic boiler temperature reset. The distinctive casing of the Ti reduces standby losses and lowers combustion noise. The Ti can be used in a floor or wall-mount configuration.

"Junk Wall-hung Boiler"

Very Unsatisfied

I am a G2 gas technician working in Ontario. Several of these boilers were sold due to low supplier pricing ($2500-3000). You get what you pay for. Servicing these units was hell, no one had decent parts breakdown and usually had to call NTI in New Brunswick. This joker was like wrestling with a pig, eventually you realize the pig loves it. After 3 years of these endless problems, we replaced the boiler and took one on the chin just to save our reputation (small town folks talk). Stay away- very far away.

"Parts break after 2 years"

Paid $9,200 for a Trinity Ti 150 2 years ago. This winter the pump, a valve, the electronic system and a air sensor broke, each 2 weeks. Technician had to come 6 times. At the end even he could not understand want was happening. Cost me $1000 more. It is a very complex machine that must be installed by highly trained experts, a rare species. Company said its lifetime guaranty, lies, only 2 years on the majority of parts.

"Trinity boiler"

Owned this piece of crap for 10 years now, every winter it breaks down as soon as it gets cold out, we've replaced every component at least once, sometimes 3 times(controller). Total waste of money.

Trinity Ti Warranty

The Trinity Ti is covered by a 5-year warranty on defective components from the date of manufacture or 1 year from the date of installation, whichever period is longer. There is a pro-rated lifetime extended pressure vessel warranty after the first year of installation. The boiler must be registered within 1 year of installation to qualify for the extended pressure vessel coverage. The warranty does not cover labor or shipping costs. The warranty is to the original owner and location and is not transferable.
