"Not happy"
I had 2 units installed in my 2 family house. They've been nothing but trouble since. Either one or the other unit has had to be reset to get heat. The second floor keeps failing while it's 20 degrees out. The installer claims something bent one of the burners, which is under a metal case. I'm not buying it. It seems these units are substandard. Not worth it!

"Helen L. Wells/El Rest Corp."
We are the owner of two water Pennco gas boilers. They are nothing but problems. The first year of operation 2010 trouble and still trouble. The pilot light goes out far too much. The pilot supply jacket is not insulated from the flames causing the pilot supply button to cut off and it does not come back on automatically. As a result the occupants heat fails.

"Two Boilers in 12 Years, Both Cracked at the Block, Pennco Refuses to Honor Warranty"
The first 400,000 BTU unit from Pennco lasted 18 months and they refused to honor the 12-year warranty. I thought it's a fluke and installed a second, and after 9 years the same thing happened. Again absolutely nothing from Pennco. The workmanship on the installation is by a 50-year old firm and it is perfect, the controls all work fine. It's the Pennco block that keeps failing at all the connections between the cast iron sections. This time I'm buying a Weil-McLain.
