Grant UK is an England-based company involved in the production of domestic heating systems such as oil-fired and biomass boilers, heat pumps, solar thermal systems, and related accessories. Grant UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Grant Engineering, a private company based in Ireland.
The Grant Co. was founded in 1976 and soon made a name for itself as one of the leading manufacturers of boilers in the UK. Grant UK was founded in 1996. It has a wide range of heating systems sporting the SEDBUK “A” rating, and is involved in the production, supply and maintenance of these systems.
Grant has a wide range of products from oil-fired condensing boilers to the most modern eco-friendly renewable energy systems. Its products fall into two lines: the Vortex Pro and Vortex Eco series. Altogether, Vortex products are available in nearly 40 models with heating outputs available from 50,000 to 240,000 BTU/H. Many of these units are designed for very small spaces and simple installation. Several models additionally feature neon diagnostic indicators, internal frost protection, internal condensate traps designed for easy installation and servicing, and a particularly large plate heat exchanger that the manufacturer says optimizes the hot water performance.
In addition, the company offers a wood pellet boiler. The Grant Spira high-efficiency condensing wood pellet boilers are up to 97% efficient and feature the company’s proprietary stainless steel turbulator baffle system. It gives the homeowner the option of achieving up to 72kW by combining two boilers and a central hopper/twin auger arrangement.
