In the Spring and Fall of each year, HVAC Manufacturers offer loans and rebates to encourage homeowners to purchase their most expensive heating and cooling systems. If you’re thinking of buying a high-end, high-efficiency heating or cooling system, check out the following deals for potentially substantial savings.
To save even more, you may be able to combine these manufacturer incentives with government and utility rebates.
One final note: ask the heating contractors that offer you quotes what the financing options are. Many have close relationships with lenders, and can offer low interest rate financing.
American Standard has not yet announced its Fall 2016 incentives. Some of the company’s heating and cooling products qualify for various eco-rebates, including utility rebates and a Federal Tax Credit if purchased before December 31, 2016.
Bryant is currently running the “Bryant Bonus” program, with rebates ranging from $25 to $1,650 when purchasing a qualifying heating and cooling system. Products must be purchased between September 1, 2016 and November 15, 2016. Equipment must be installed by November 30, 2016, and rebates submitted by December 15, 2016. 53 products are eligible for rebates, including boilers, furnaces, central A/Cs, heat pumps, and thermostats.
Carrier is offering a “Fall Cool Cash” rebate of up to $1,650 on qualified heating and cooling products. The promotion runs until November 15, 2016. Equipment must be installed by November 30, 2016, and rebates must be submitted by December 15, 2016. Check with your local Carrier dealer for more details.
Daikin is offering a Comfort Cash rebate of up to $1,200 on qualifying energy-intelligent indoor comfort products and systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces. Rebates are valid from September 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.
Frigidare is offering a “Game Changer” rebate of $75 to $1300 on a new, ultra-efficient HVAC system. Qualifying equipment must be installed between July 1, 2016 and September 30, 2016. Contact your local Frigidaire dealer to see which units qualify.
Lennox is offering a rebate of up to $1300 on a home system (gas furnace or blower coil, air conditioner or heat pump and thermostat), plus an additional $100 on both a smart thermostat and an iHarmony Zoning system. Lennox is also offering a $100 rebate on a PureAir air purification system. Rebates are valid from September 5, 2016 through November 25, 2016.
Rheem has not announced a Fall 2016 promotion. The company ran a Spring 2016 CashBack promotion which ended May 31st, 2016 and included rebates of up to $750 on new Rheem AC units and heat pumps and up to $500 on package systems.

Ruud has not announced a Fall 2016 promotion. The company offered a Spring Contractor Cashback promotion which ended May 31st, 2016, and included rebates of up to $750 for contractors on select Ruud air conditioners, heat pumps, and package units

Trane is running a promotion giving homeowners the choice between:
- 0% financing for 48 months or
- $75 – $2000 trade-in allowance on qualified systems
Equipment must be purchased between 9/15/2016 and 11/15/2016 and installed between 9/15/2016 and 11/30/2016.
York offers financing towards the installation of new residential HVAC systems.
