Overview of the SUNLINE PLUS
The York Sunline Plus is a discontinued single package air conditioner with a capacity of 6 nominal tons and an efficiency of 10.4 EER. The Sunline Plus was designed for light commercial and commercial applications and was suitable for roof curb, slab, roof jack or frame installation. It had a stainless steel heat exchanger, copper tube / aluminum fin coils and permanently lubricated motors for less maintenance. The unit featured a Simplicity control board, which monitored the system and flashed an alarm code on the control board LED if a problem was found.

"Runs quietly and modern sleek design."
I had a York heat pump/AC unit installed. I can barely hear it running. My old unit was extremely loud. It has a modern sleek design. Very satisfied!

Very disappointed. Unit bangs periodically when it starts up. York states the $800 part is not covered under the warranty. Installation was April 2008. A/C businesses here do not want to install them or deal with York's customer service because it is so dismal.
Other SUNLINE PLUS Reviews
Among the very few comments regarding the Sunline on HVAC forums is one on hvac-talk.com from someone who experienced failure of the Simplicity board. A couple of professional members on the site suggested that is it probably due to a moisture problem.
