"Works well"
Unit was installed in early summer and has worked very well with our existing furnace. Pleased with how well and how quickly it cooled our house. It looks very nice.

"Nightmare w/ Coleman"
I have had this unit for six years and it's been a continuous nightmare Coleman has provided poor customer service and now that it is outside the original five year warranty they will do nothing. Even though they offered an extended warranty for another five years, because I did not fill out the paperwork for an extended warranty they dropped responsibility. If you have a warranty for 10 years then honor it. There's a reason that you offer it. Don't torture your customers in the filling out of extra paperwork. Coleman and their parent company are horrible. In six years I've had at least 20 service calls for this unit, it's been terrible. I would never purchase another.

"Failed at 4 years"
4 years after install we have a leak in the microchannel coil. The part is under warranty, but $2000 in labor to replace the coil. Very disappointing.

Review:
"Terrible product"
Bought a new construction home with this 5 ton, split-level unit. It has gone out every summer at the same time (right around Father's Day). The installers have come out every year and admitted that it is a product flaw known in the industry and by Coleman. There is a leak in the condenser coil that develops due to poor connection of the copper refrigerant line entering the condenser outside at the aluminum joint. I am fed up with this. It is irresponsible for the manufacturer to allow such a defect to be present and not replace the unit (especially after they discontinued this model because of this issue). Now I'm without air conditioning (in the Southeast U.S. summer). It's the same temperature in my house as it is outside - this is unacceptable. Do not purchase this product and if you have this issue be sure to get a new unit.

"Wow what a piece of junk."
I have owned an RV for three years now, bought it brand new from the factory. The fan motor in the bedroom has now failed for the fourth time and the fan motor in the front room has failed for the third time. I realize it is the fan motors that are failing but what good is the unit if the fan is out? I have been told that the motors (made in China) are presenting many problems so why has nothing been done to replace them with a quality product? I will be contacting you soon to see what can be done about this latest break down.

"Satisfied so far"
The unit has saved us $25 per month on the first 3 months of usage. Very quiet and keeps the house temperature very uniformed. Contractor did a top notch job on the installation and explained everything to us.

"Great contractor and Coleman central air"
Neighborhood Heating and Air in Memphis, Tennessee replied quickly to an A/C company in the area. They installed it the next day after I selected the Coleman. From all my research the total cost was well within reason. The quality of the Coleman over my last unit was a plus and is even more efficient . They showed me what they where doing on each part of install and offered a great iPhone app thermostat at their cost. Great guys and I would definitely refer them to anyone in the Memphis area

"Great quiet system"
Had this equipment installed at my house, a complete Coleman system. It is very efficient, quiet and so far I have had no problems. The installer did a great job of making sure that it was installed correctly and running.

"Central air"
After an unusually hot and humid summer, I decided to upgrade my cooling system from evaporative to central air conditioning. The Coleman AC unit installed by my contractor operated very efficiently this past summer and was surprisingly affordable.
