"Does the job and does it well"
Ive owned this furnace from central boiler for a little over a year. So far what ive liked about it is that it was worth every penny i paid for it. It produced the same amount of quality heat as other ones i was looking at except i saved over 500 dollars purchasing this one instead and it was the best choice i have made in regards to these things. The only thing i did not like about the central boiler is that it was very loud at times. And even with that complaint i am still happy with the product. So far after about 1 year, i have not had to make any repairs to it, it works as well as when i first bought it. I would definitely tell my friends and family about this furnace if they ever needed one as i am somewhat satisfied by it.

"Advantages to having an outdoor wood furance."
We use to have a small wood stove in our basement. We spent more time cutting the wood into 18 inch pieces and stacking it in the basement then we did enjoying the heat it seemed. About three years ago we got an outdoor wood furnace and it has been great. We have ours setup to heat our water as well. With our old electric water heater would constantly be running out of hot water. Now we never run out. I can even take a bath while my wife does the laundry. My wife was bragging about how much hot water we have to my sister in-law and she made her husband get one too. Its also very nice to not have to haul all of the dirty wood into the house. Not only can we keep the wood outside and our basement clean, but we can put much larger pieces into the furnace. We only have to stock the furnace up a couple times a day. Before we had to every few hours. I think If I were to do it over again, I'd get a Classic again, but I might have gone with a smaller one. The one we bought is a bit too large for a small home and shop like ours. It seems like the sister in laws works just as well but they go through less wood. I talked to the dealer and he said ours was a more than what we needed. Its ok though, we got a good deal on it.

"All Warmed Up In Northern Minnesota"
My husband and I purchased our outdoor wood furnace last September for our cabin because we were tired of paying so much each month for our heating needs. We chose the CLASSIC model CL-4030 because it seemed like it would fit our needs and it was at a price that we could afford. We have had it less then a year but used it over a full winter already and we were both pretty much happy with it. It looks nice, it was easy to have installed, and it really works. I think on the colder days it seemed like there may have been some more heat loss then we would have liked but overall it really seemed to do the trick. Winter of 2011 was pretty easy so we will see how it works this coming winter. The only thing that I did not like is that it seems really big for the small area that we are using it for. We have not had it for very long so we have never had a problem with it. I would buy this brand again as we seem to have luck with it and it is so easy to use and I would tell my friends about it if they were ever in the market for a outdoor wood furnace.

"I LOVE my outdoor wood boiler!"
My family and I have owned the E-Classic for approximately 5 years now and we have had pretty good luck with the furnace. What we most like about the outdoor furnace is the fact that it saves us a great deal of money per month. What I don't particularly like about he furnace is that there have been times when the furnace does not work at all! I have called the manufacturer and they are working with us to correct the problem. We had this current model for approximately 5 years and I'm not sure if it's in need of repairs or replacement yet. As I stated, the manufacturer is working with us closely. I would absolutely recommended this brand (and I have!) to friends of ours. However, I don't believe I would recommended this particular model (the E-Classic 2400) just because we have been having so much trouble with it lately.

"Outdoor Wood Furnace"
I bought my wood furnace over 5 years ago.comfortable heat. Since installing it I have not used any gas and the house is 72 degrees Wood is the most economical choice. The wood mode allows the user to operate the furnace burning only wood. Wood is a totally renewable resource that is beneficial for the environment because burning wood is natural. When burned, results in no net increases in carbon dioxide. On the other hand, fossil fuels when burned, release carbon dioxide which would otherwise be trapped in the earth. The burning of fossil fuels causes a net increase in carbon dioxide which is believed to be responsible for the heat trapping greenhouse effect. United States and Canada. Making this purchase was one of the best ones I have made and I would suggest it to anyone.

"Keeping my home warm"
We bought the furnace (Boiler) about a year ago with our refund check, we enjoy it immensely, it has done a fabulous job keeping the workshop warm and cozy, there is a little extra work with it which can sometimes be a pain in the butt, especially on those bitterly cold days. You do have to maintenance it almost daily, which you don't have to do with a central system, but the cost is so much cheaper in the long run. For that reason alone it is very well worth the maintenance. I would say, on average, we have saved almost 1,000 just this year alone. So far, we have not had to do any repairs to it. I would recommend it to any of my friends who have enough time on their hands for the maintenance. If you do not have the time for the mainenance, the machine will pretty much be useless. You won't get the heat you need and will probably have many costly repairs.

"Central boiler outdoor wood boiler"
I've owned the Classic Model outdoor wood furnace for about 4 years now and it's still running great. This piece of equipment has required very little maintenance, aside from the cleaning which has been minimal (I was even able to do this myself). I love being able to provide my family with heat from natural, local, and renewable resources. As a bonus, chopping wood for the furnace gives me down time to think and also provides me with great exercise. The reliability of this machine was a major factor in my purchase, as I value being self-sufficient in any way possible. The upfront cost seemed like a lot at first, but we are saving a ton of money using a non-traditional method of heating our home. I am very grateful to my friend who made this recommendation to me, I would not have considered this otherwise. I would definitely recommend this product, or possibly a more expensive model for larger homes.

"Outdoor Wood Furnace Review"
I have owned my E-Classic 2300 for a couple months. I do like the massive insulated chimney coming out the top of the furnace. The blank colour also fits in well with my house which is white. I also like how big the fire box is as it has a large door and hull to put large pieces of wood in at once. I do not like the FireStar Controller as it is really hard to use in the night and during winter. I did have to repair it once when my kids killed a ball into the insulated chimney knocking it off. I then had to pay to get it repaired. It was rather annoying as I had only bought it the a couple months ago. After the ball accident I am not sure if I approve of this brand anymore. Originally I had bought it through recommendation of a friend who had the same model as me. I would look for a different brand in the future.

"Hot For Central Boilers"
I'm a Central Boiler Model 6048 owner for 4yrs. So far it has been an excellent experience that I have had with my central Boiler. Although everything has been good, I have had a little problem with my boiler that I bought. The problem is that the heat exchanger that Central Boiler was able to sell to me is leaking water. Now I can not heat my pool. I was surprised to hear that for some reason they would not help me rectify the situation. Later I was able reach the dealer. The dealer was located in Pa;merton, PA. This is who I bought the boiler from. They said that they were willing to look at the boiler and the problematic heat exchanger that is giving me all the problems. I just hope and pray that they are able to help me fix this defective unit and get my pool back hot so me and the wife can have some fun. I'll let everyone know what they decide to do about this problem. Stay tuned.

"Will they Honor their Warrantee?"
I'm a Central Boiler Model 6048 owner for 2yrs. So far, so good. I have had one problem with the heat exchanger that Central Boiler sold me to heat my pool. It's leaking water. I have contacted Central Boiler and initially they refused to help me but later I got a call from the dealer (D&R Country Designs in Palmerton,PA) that I bought my Central Boiler from and they are willing to "look" at the defective heat exchanger. I guess now I get to see if their famous warrantee is for real or just a sales pitch. I'll let everyone know what they decide to do about this problem. Stay tuned.
