"No warranty"
Central boilers 25 year warranty is junk. My boiler only ran for a couple months and broke down. When talking to central boiler they offer no solutions. No service and a warranty on parts only is what they offer. I will never purchase from central boiler again and would encourage everyone to search other brands.

"Terrible warranty!"
I was mislead to think central boilers 25 year warranty meant something. My boiler ran for a few months and has been broke down ever since. Central boiler will not refund or replace a product.

"Central Boiler Review"
Would have liked to have gotten my investment back from this central boiler. Since I followed all of the manufactures specifications to assure that I would have a furnace that would last long enough to get my investment back but that didn't happen. My advice to a person thing about this purchase. Do the math.

"2 Faulty circuit boards and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Our system was installed at the end of October 2012 by Martin's in Seneca Falls. The unit stopped working on 2 separate occasions due to bad circuit boards. They were replaced as I made payments on my new furnace. I had to get a propane fill up due to the unit not working, so I could run the inside furnace. I called Central Boiler to ask that I am compensated for the added expense that I should not have encountered if I was not sold a faulty unit. Not only did Central Boiler not call me back, but they had the dealer call and tell me I would not be compensated for anything, as the propane is not part of the warranty, and they have replaced the parts that are under warranty. I have purchased wood, making payments on a unit that did not work and I had to purchase $520.00 in propane. Thank you for increasing my cost and worrying about the customer. $16,000.00 is a lot of money to spend on a faulty unit and not to be compensated for expenses I should not have had. Martin's has been wonderful to us, but I don't feel this is an issue they should have to handle as they did not make the unit. Thank You Central Boiler for your wonderful Customer Service!!!

"Central boiler leaks/ customer service stinks"
I too, had a central boiler that worked for 6 seasons with no problems. (I burn 10/15 cords per season of dry seasoned oak only) Then it sprung a leak in the side wall. had it welded by cert. welder, he noted the walls were very thin. it made the rest of the season, but the start of the 6th season it started leaking from the back side. had it inspected by a couple of welders who said the walls were too thin to weld. The customer service was as others have said, rude, non helpful, accusing. Rather than pay for shipping and rebuilding or buying new, I went with another source, sold the thing for scrap and chalked up 7500.00 as a bad investment/

"Wi-fi ready"
Central Boiler ad says wi-fi ready...but after I bought the E-classic 1450 central boiler says I now need an additional 300+ dollars box and 100 dollar cable that should have been put in underground? I need a wire for a furnace advertised as wi-fi ready? Central Boiler is a joke, they are big on the sale, but after the sale forget about calling central boiler for anything, central boiler points everything back to the dealer, my dealer was great but central boiler is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Review:
"Company does NOT support its product AT ALL"
I recently purchased the e-3200, a very sophisticated and expensive boiler. My beef is with the after-sale support at the home office. Why they even supply an 800 number is beyond me. Every single call is shuffled back to the local dealer. When I force the issue to speak to someone about tech support they don't even have staff to do this. I get someone's voice mail every time and when they call back they are not happy to help. Once again the first words from their mouth is, "have you contacted your dealer?" Today I called to ask about a replacement screw for the cleaning rod (it fell out). A ten cent item and a fifty cent stamp. They said I could buy one from the dealer. They had no interest in helping me. Let's see ... $16,000 minus 90 cents ... a killer to their margins. My guess is they have no one at the firm to even do this. I have never worked with a company in thirty years as an adult that I can remember has such poor customer commitment. Bottom line is that if I thought that they would have nothing to do with me after-sale I might have considered another company. I am very happy with the local dealer. I was a little surprised that it cost me almost $6000 to have the furnace hooked up only four feet from the house, but I'm not complaining.

"Central Boiler Melt Down"
After just a few years of usage the boiler developed a water leak inside the firebox. I called the company and was very rudely directed to my local dealer. Several people came out to view the box and it was determined to be unfixable. My options were to purchase a new boiler or send this back to the factory for a new heat exchange firebox. The company basically treated me like I was out to get them. Because I was stuck and needed a heat source a reluctantly paid the $4400 shipping and labor charges to have the unit rebuilt. To me the bottom line is the fire box walls are way too thin. The 25 year warranty is a joke. As for customer service Central Boiler is rated as anti-customer service. Less than 6 weeks after getting the unit back in operation the circulation pump died. I’m at wits end with this piece of crap. I could have heated with oil for a lot less.

"firebox leaked within 14 months use"
Bought two new e2300 Central Boilers from local dealer. After 14 months one has a quarter size hole near top of firebox and leaks at three seams. Have 25 year warranty but company will not honor. Called company and was treated rudely and no help. Dealer hired a certified welder but could not fix all the leaks. Sent boiler to company and they will send a rebuilt one to us for $4500. I have an Amish built wood boiler built about 40 years ago and it still works with no leaks.

"JUNK!"
This is the biggest piece of junk I have were invested my money in. I agree with others that the company is extremely rude and does not stand behind their product at all. The 25 year warranty is worthless and doesn't cover anything. I have a few friends whose have the central boiler models that are not gasification and they work great. My gasification model is junk!!!! I would never recommend them to anyone. I am contacting a lawyer to rectify the situation! Very sad!
