Corporate History
The Hardy Manufacturing Company began in 1976 when Jerome Hardy and Bobby Smith developed
a farmland heater. In 1978, the heater.s air-blowing process was replaced by a hot water
system, which was patented in 1979.
Product Lines
"The Hardy" comes in six versions, including standard, economy, catalytic, and high-capacity
models. The main difference between models is the BTU heating output; the higher the model
number, the higher the output.
