The Clayton brand of wood furnaces is owned by The United States Stove Company. The US Stove Company was founded in 1869.

Product Lines

U.S. Stoves, Inc. markets many different brands of heating units, including Wonderwood, Ashley, Hotblasts, King, Magnolia, and Clayton. Heater types include: the caboose, pot belly, hasty baker, and logwood stoves; the pedestal and freestanding fireplaces; and circulators. There are two models of Clayton furnaces: the 1600G and 1800G. These burn both wood and coal. The only difference between the two is the BTU/h capacity, which is higher for the 1800G. Both models feature a secondary heat exchanger.
