"Working Since 1988, May She Rest in Peace!"
Just thought I'd pass it on. Our State 56 gal. electric water heater just sprung a leak. Live on a farm with hard water, never drain or flush it and only had to replace the elements once,(which we did ourselves). Hope the next one is just as reliable!

"Built in 1981"
I just had to have my State water heater replaced. It was manufactured in 1981, so it lasted over 30 years. So, when it broke, I didn't hesitate buying another State water heater. I am very pleased with my State water heater and would buy it again. I believe that has to be a record of how long the water heater lasted. If not, it should be.

"50 Gal electric"
This electric hot water heater was installed on Feb 22, 1989. It's starting to be a little slow in the recovery area. I don't know about the quality of State now, but my experience with a my water heater that has lasted almost 24 years tells me they made a good product at one time.

"Hot Water Always"
We have owned this 50 gallon water heater for approximately 12 years. We got it when we bought our current home. The owner said that it was fairly new at the time we purchased. The only time that we had to have it repaired was for a new igniter. That was once in the 12 years we have owned the home. It has been extremely reliable supplying us with hot water all of the time. I think only once did we have to wait for hot water and that was when we didn't know the igniter was broken. This was when the heater was about 8 years old and it was a quick and easy repair. The repairman came out and it was fixed within 15 minutes. We have been very happy with the hot water heater because it gives us hot water and we don't have to wait for it to heat up as we have had to do with other hot water heaters that we have owned. We would definitely recommend this hot water heater to a friend because it has been very reliable. We would look to buy another one in the future. It has already outlasted the one we had in our previous home. We keep it at the low end of hot. When we have guests, we turn it up a little bit and it supplies plenty of hot water for many showers, washing more dishes, washing more clothes, etc. There is nothing that we dislike about it. How can you dislike it, when you get hot water always?

"Water Heater that does the job"
I have owned a State Select water heater for 2 years and its great. I bought it when came with the house that I purchased. I have always found it to be very reliable for heating enough water to provide hot showers for the whole house. Never had any issues with it. It's easy to light. The temp control is straight forward. It's a dial with the temps laid out on it. The only downsides I can think of are that it is kind of noisy when refilling and its loud when heating. Since the heater is in a closet near the master bed room we hear it, but I would assume that most water heaters make similar noise, this is mostly bad placement on the builders part. Over all it's a nice unit with comparable features to other water heaters on the market and I will replace it with the latest model when it comes time.

"Excellent performance"
I have owned this same water heater for the seven years that I've resided in my home. I've never experienced any problems or complication. Never had to have it fixed, or done any altering to it's current condition. It heats all the water in my home quickly and efficiently for the majority of the time. There are days that it takes a little longer to get warm, but living in Minnesota, that's expected. I would most likely buy again from this same brand because of the lack f problems I've experienced. I know that state select is a brand I can trust, and that's rare to find in any commercial product. Once again, very satisfied with the heater and company, and if anyone were to ask me for a recommendation of a heater, I would tell them State select. (In addition, to my knowledge the previous owners didn't have any difficulties with this same heater)

"State Residental Gas Hot Water Heaters are a great value"
We've had this hot water heater only about two months, but it is a vast improvement over our previous one; despite its being from a line that does not tout its energy efficiency, it is quite efficient with the natural gas and we are seeing that add up in our bill from Atmos every month. Very quiet, practically no noise, and water heats up quickly. The capacity is plenty for our house (a family of four) and we've never, ever run out of water. I would certainly recommend this hot water heater to anyone in the market for a new one; one thing that manufacturers don't tell you is that despite the durability statements on the sides of the units, pretty much all hot water heaters are of the same quality from the same company; they all have roughly comparable working lives, and you're paying more unnecessarily for the same quality of product.

"Electric Water Heater"
i have had the water heater since 2004 when I purchase the house it was then a year old. It is very efficient, on the minimum setting most of the year. This the 2nd State Ind electric water heater I have owned the other was in Denver, Co I had it for 10 years had no problems and it went with house I sold. I have never had a problem with my current water heater and with my previous good luck do not expect any problems with it. The only thing I dislike about it is that the tank is not as large capasity as I would like..when I have company, my son and daughter in law an their kids we do run out of water with all the laundry and baths ect. however it is fine the rest of the time but I would like at least if it were part time solar. I would not hesitate to recomend a State Ind Electric Water heater to anyone

"Mrs"
It actually is a State Censable but that wasn't on your list. It was purchased when the house was built in 1988 and still runs great.
