"I'm trying to decide whether to start heating my hot water with oil"
I'm trying to decide whether to start heating my hot water with oil. I have an oil fired furnace but a propane water heater. I just went through 60 lbs of propane in two weeks which equates to about $30 per week for laundry; showers and dishes. My old place the furnace heated the hot water in the furnace and during the summer I would fill the furnace in say April and not need fuel until October. Seems lots cheaper than what the propane is costing me. Please comment.
