Eccotemp is a South Carolina-based company that manufactures a wide array of tankless water heaters for residential usage under the brand name Siesco. The company's current line of water heaters includes several models of gas and propane powered water heaters. Eccotemp has also recently introduced several electric tankless water heaters. Siesco water heaters are available to corporate customers and through authorized, professional installers or online sellers.

Eccotemp's History

Mike Elrod began Eccotemp Systems, LLC in 2004. The popularity and practicality of tankless water heaters in many other parts of the world inspired Elrod to create smaller, more affordable units for the US and Canadian markets. The company claims that its units cost about as much as a standard water heater, unlike the more expensive models that have been previously available in North America.

Product Information

Siesco has six models of gas tankless water heaters. They vary in capacity, making them suited for different settings such as cabins, homes and RVs. For example, the 40H Outdoor Gas Unit is designed for use in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. It is designed for outdoor installation and is powered by natural gas or liquid propane. It delivers about 6.3 gallons of hot water per minute and features a temperature control panel.

Siesco also markets six models of electric tankless water heaters. These units also range in size and capacity. Their most popular residential and commercial usage unit is the RA-28, with four heating chambers making it stronger than the 2-chamber models. The company recommends it as a backup for solar and geothermal passive heat recovery systems.
