According to the company, their advantage over competitors' heaters is "condensing technology," which results in a 98% efficiency rating and important energy cost savings for the consumer.

Special Features

Tankless water heaters manufactured and sold by Navien offer endless hot water supply. Water is heated on demand using Navien ECO technology. Special features of its tankless heaters include: PVC venting, leak detectors, and an air intake filters. Heaters come in a variety of sizes for small residences to large homes that require more hot water for bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms.

Navien offers twenty-four models of water heaters that meet the energy-conservations standards set by ENERGYSTAR. All models operate using natural gas or propane.

Warranty

Navien products are warranted for fifteen years on the heat exchanger and five years for parts. The company requires proof of purchase to provide warranty service. Water heater owners may register their units on the company website. While the warranty is transferable to purchasing homebuyers, it is limited to the site of the original installation.
