"Interesting look, inefficient heating."
I purchased this heater about 4 months ago for our vacation home. We have a cabin with very little insulation and although we have central heat the bedrooms do not get warm. I chose this because I liked the look of the unit. It was slightly modern in design and looks like a fan rather than a typical box shaped space heater. The price was good and I had high hopes. Unfortunately it doesn't work well. It barely throws any heat unless you are right next to it and it is extremely bright. It lights up a room so it isn't suitable for a bedroom at night. We used it in a very small bedroom and noticed no difference at all in temperature. I haven't owned it long enough to repair it and in fact just recently decided that I am going to donate it to charity. I would certainly not recommend this to anyone. I am on the hunt for a better heater for next years winter.
