OK, before I write my review it is important that you understand my stiuation: I am a technically homeless man living in a shelter for homeless men. I do not own this space heater, it is property of the house, but I am the one using it. I do not know how long the house has owned this space heater. I have lived here for over 2 years and have been using this space heater for about 1 year. I like the fact that it is small, but efficient. Neuropathy affects the hands and the feet. Because of this I am not able to lift much weigh. This small space heater is small and light, but does put out just enough heat to warm me up, in particular my hands. Because of where I live the director has to save on bills as much as he can. He keeps the house, to me, a little cold, especially at night. I can plug this space heater in and put it about 3 feet from me, turn it on, and greatly reduce the effect that the colder room tempature has on me. To the best of my knowledge this space heater has never been repaired. There simply is no money to repair things here. Yes, I would recommend the brand in particular and if I ever get a place of my own and I need a space heater I will look for the brand room essentials.
