"Great heating solution for kid's room"
We purchased two Duraflame "electric stove" space heaters on Black Friday (2011). They have worked well through the winter to add extra heat to our kids' rooms. Our second story has bedrooms off a large great room with cathedral ceilings; heating all that unused space with our heat pump can be very expensive when the weather is cold. By keeping the doors closed, these heaters provided an attractive way to keep our kids rooms warmer without heating the great room. Both the temperature and the brightness of the "flame" are adjustable. Our children loved the flame effect, and it served as a nightlight for them. It is possible to turn on ONLY the light without blowing heat, which is a nice feature, although we eventually packed the heaters away for the summer because our kids would forget to turn off the light in the morning when there was no blower noise. We did not notice an increase in our electric bill, although it's hard to quantify because this was only our second winter in the house, and this year's weather was much milder than last year. We are very pleased with these heaters and would buy them again. We may eventually purchase another for our sun room, which gets quite chilly in winter due to all the glass.

"Small Size, Big Heat"
I purchased this space heater at the beginning of this winter, just to have something to take the bite out of the cold in a room that just doesn't stay warm. I bought it because of it's look, it's safety features (stay-cool casing, automatic shutoff for overheat or tip over). It has been an efficient little heater, heating a large spaced room rather quickly. The only issue I have with it is that the actual timer control and high/low settings are not self explanatory. I had to get out the manual just to switch from low to high! Now that I've figured it out, though, it's a great little heater that I would recommend to anyone, though I have chuckled about having a product in my home that I never want to catch on fire made by a company who focuses on things catching fire.

"Absolutely love it!"
I have had this heater for little over a month and so far I am very satisfied with it! Not only do I get to enjoy it's warmth but I also get to watch the beautiful fake flames. I can have just the flames on or have both the heater and flames on, which is very nice, I can watch the fire without the heat if it's hot, making it still useful during the summer. I do wish I could have the heater on without the fire, but it's not that bothersome since I mostly like to watch the flames while I sit and warm up anyways. So far I have not had to repair or replace it, it works wonderfully. I would definitely buy another one of these again and I've already recommended it to a bunch of friends. It is absolutely wonderful! The flames are very life-like, it's like sitting by a real fireplace, which of course, is my favorite part!

"The Best of Both Worlds"
I got this as an Anniversary present on November 19 of this year. I have to say, my husband has outdone himself this year! This is an awesome heater offering up not only optional heat with adjustable settings, but also a realistic flame effect. You have the ability to have the look of a fireplace without the worry or maintenance of a real one. Hidden below the fake fireplace is where the heater is located so all you see is what appears to be a fireplace. The heat blows out from underneath and cycles on and off to keep the room just right. It is safe to sit anywhere, even against a wall. You can also run the fire look without heat, meaning no need to store it away when winter is over. I really cannot say enough about how great this heater is. Great for relaxation and comfort, I highly recommend this one!
