"good heater; very short life"
I used a Calore space heater for less than a month. I was happy with the job it did, but within a few weeks it failed. Loud pop, room filled with smoke, and the heater stopped working. No visible damage, but it is a dead duck. No more Calore heaters for this family. We bought it a few years ago, then did not use it until December 2011.

"Calore Space Heater: A Subjective Review"
I bought my Calore Low End Space Heater around four years ago. I purchased it due to its high marks on review sites and the general price of the heater which was average in comparison to others. Upon using it for several days, I noted that it was very effective in heating the room quickly which was very satisfactory. There are several flaws in the design though. The heater itself is very bulky and unwieldy so moving it around is troublesome. The controls are also confusing at first but it is quite easy once you know what you are doing. I have never had a problem with the heater and have never had it repaired. This is quite a good asset to the heater and I would purchase this brand again if needed. In conclusion, the Calore Low End Space Heater, while large and confusing at first is a good space heater.
