Consumer Reviews of Cadet space heaters
"Cadet Soft Heat 71 in. 1,250-Watt 240 Volt Hydronic Electric Baseboard Heater"
My house is well heated, but my garage is not. For the past few years I have been restoring an old Mustang in my garage and winters always are rough. Cool knuckles, tools, and auto parts don't mix well. I bought this baseboard heater to heat the garage when I want to work on the car. Over all, it was not a bad purchase. I don't leave it running all the time so it does take a good hour or two to get the garage up to a comfortable temperature. It is a very nice looking unit. Just a note, it does not come with a thermostat with it so, you would have to buy that separately. Also, you should use an electrician for this. It is a 240V unit so it needs it's own circuit. One of the things that sold me on this unit was that it had a 7 year warranty, and the price was reasonable.
