Master Portable Heaters

A brand of industrial heaters for construction sites, the Master brand includes forced air, radiant, and convection heaters fueled by kerosene/fuel oil, natural gas, and propane. The forced air heaters are known as torpedo- and salamander-styles. All Master heaters are portable, and except for the propane tank-top heater which can be used in a garage, are for outdoor use.

Warranty Considerations

The Master brand is available through Master Distributers which also carries heaters by Universal, All-Pro, Comfort Glow, Vanguard, Reddy, and Glo-Warm. Master Distributers does not offer its own warranty, but the manufacturer's warranty applies to each brand. Any problems at the time of delivery must be reported within three days.

Features of Master Heaters

The different fuel heaters differ widely in weight. The natural gas forced air heater weighs 24 pounds to the kerosene's 63 pounds; the propane radiant heater is the lightweight at six pounds. The kerosene-fueled heaters have an electric ignition, while the others have electronic direct spark ignition. They all have automatic shutoffs. Salamander and Torpedo kerosene forced air heaters have a -30 degree cold start rating which makes them reliable in variable outdoor settings.
