De'Longhi Heaters

An Italian company, De'Longhi markets their products as being innovative, stylish, and high quality. They began producing space heaters in 1975, which they say made "blankets everywhere feel unwanted, sullen."

Corporate History

De'Longhi was founded in Treviso, Italy in 1902 and didn't become a part of the United States market until 1980. The company began as a big-name producer of air-conditioners and portable heaters until it expanded by adding cooking and household appliances to the product line.

De'Longhi Products

De'Longhi makes five different types of heaters including a faux wood burning stove. Consumers can also purchase oil-filled radiators, ceramic heaters, utility heaters, convection heaters and Mica panel radiators. De'Longhi designers describe their work as timeless and inventive. Each product line includes a number of different sub-styles.

Oil-Filled Radiator Features:

• No refill necessary-sealed shut

Ceramic Heater Features:

• Motor-operated swiveling stand that blows warm air throughout entire room

• Tip-over switch that shuts off the heater automatically if it tumbles over
• Ceramic characteristically distributes heat quickly and safely

Utility Heater Features:

• Product shut-down feature if room gets too over-heated
• Carry handle for handy transportation

Convector Heater Features:

• Internal silent fan that delivers quick heating with no noise
• External material that is safe to touch
• Automatic power on when room becomes 44°F

Mica Panel Heater Features:

• Wall mounting option
• Functions silently for pleasant use
• Includes a GFI Plug for use in the bathroom
