Broan History
Broan-Nutone, LLC began during the Great Depression with Henry Broan's invention of a kitchen ventilation fan and J. Ralph Corbett's introduction of a new door chime through a company called Nutone. Both men started their companies in the Midwest and eventually grew to serve world markets. The two companies came together in the 1980s through a series of mergers and acquisitions. Currently, Broan-Nutone has headquarters located in Hartford, Wisconsin. The company is North America's largest producer of residential ventilation products and recently began to introduce their products in Europe.
Special Features
Although there are many different types of Broan portable heating systems, there are several special features available on all of the different models.
- All Broan portables heaters come with an adjustable built-in thermostat.
- Broan heaters that run on motors all are made with permanently lubricated motors.
- Manual thermal overload protection is including in all models of Broan heaters and the Big HeatŪ Portable Heater has an automatic shut off switch if it is tipped over on its front or back.
- Both the Comfort-Flo and High Capacity wall heaters can be easily removed from their housing for easy cleaning and maintenance.
