Luxaire's History
The C.A. Olsen Manufacturing company was founded in 1939, and began making warm air furnaces in 1940. Westinghouse Electric Corporation acquired the C.A. Olsen company in 1955, and changed its name to Luxaire in 1965. York purchased Luxaire in 1981.
