Airquest Heating & Cooling

The Airquest brand, which has been produced by International Comfort Products (ICP) since 1988, includes a range of HVAC products such as residential gas and oil burning furnaces, split-system air conditioners, heat pumps and packaged heating and cooling systems. All Airquest systems are manufactured in North America, and are designed for quick installation, easy troubleshooting and speedy servicing. Airquest also offers light commercial products.

History

Airquest's parent company ICP manufactures a wide range of residential and commercial heating and cooling equipment under a variety of names, including Arcoaire, Heil, KeepRite, Tempstar and Comfortmaker. ICP was purchased by Carrier International in 1999, which was later purchased by the United Technology Corp (UTC). UTC also produces equipment for the aerospace and building industries.

Product Lines from Airquest

Airquest manufactures gas and oil furnaces, heat pumps and air conditioning units in Mainline and Performance series. Products in the Mainline series typically offer higher efficiency ratings, more robust features and longer warranty coverage than models in the Performance series.

Split air conditioning systems and heat pumps in the Mainline series can reach up to 18 SEER. Packaged heating and cooling systems can be configured for gas or electric heating, and can offer up to 15.5 SEER and 80 percent AFUE. Furnaces range from 80 to 97 percent AFUE and are available for both single- and two-stage heating.

Environmental Impact

Several of Airquest's high-performance units meet Energy Star standards. While neither Airquest nor ICP holds an individual environmental policy, Carrier International posts on its website a commitment to sustainability that includes its goal of providing its customers with energy-efficient products manufactured to meet set environmental performance targets.

While individual warranty terms may vary, Airquest offers a "No Hassle Replacement" limited warranty for most residential units. This warranty provides the original purchaser a replacement unit if the compressor, heat exchanger or outdoor coil fails within as much as 10 years after installation. Online registration is required to receive full warranty coverage.
