The furnace circuit board has a HUM connection and a Neutral

You have to check if the board is putting out 120v or 24v

If it's 120v then you need a step down transformer to connect the high side to the HUM / Neutral, and the 24v side will go to your humidifier

If your HUM / Neutral connection is already 24v then you can connect the humidifier directly to those. And put your humidistat in series with the 24v connection, so in other words 1) line of 24v to humidifier solenoid, and 1 line to the humidistat, and from the humidistat back to the humidifier solendoid

Just be sure you have 24 volts if your humidifier is 24v
