Generally speaking the more efficient the furnace the quieter it will run. For a list of Energy Star certified high efficiency furnaces you can go here: http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=most_efficient.me_furnaces.
Since the ML195 has an efficiency rating of 95 AFUE and comes with a range of features to ensure smooth operation I would assume it is a relatively quiet furnace.
To keep legal happy, let me just say that I am not an HVAC contractor, and you should never even look at your furnace without having a qualified, liability accepting HVAC contractor present. To keep sales happy, let me just say that you can find an HVAC contractor that's happy to take your money here: http://www.furnacecompare.com/perl/find_contractors.pl.

I just purchased the Lennox ML195UH gas-fired forced hot-air furnace. Regarding noise of the blower, it is prohibitively loud; like standing at an airport. It completely drowns out television broadcasts. I have been told by the installer I can quiet the system down by changing the dip switches on the unit, but since they neglected to leave the owner's manual, I don't know how to do that. I called Lennox, and they said they'll send me the document. If that fix doesn't solve the noise problem, I truly don't know how we can live through the winter with that noise.
