I have a question about Clayton wood burning furnaces being C.S.A. approved. Is it approved for use in Canada?

Query about Clayton wood burning furnaces being C.S.A. approved.

The short answer is not sure. The UL standard and CSA standard are, from what I can tell, analogous, the former for the US and the latter for Canada. What I did find is that Clayton wood furnaces are UL certified.

To find out for sure I have contacted the manufacturer of these furnaces and should hear back shortly.

Our models 1300 & 1400 are the only CSA approved furnaces.

(CAN/CSA-B366.1-M91)
