Which is the most efficient OIL furnace on the market?Post created: 2013-01-21 Type of Equipment: Furnace Views: 124This question was created on the page: http://www.furnacecompare.com/buying_a_furnace.html. I don't have a problem and I don't need no contractor. So, where is the choices for the most efficient oil furnace, and then I'll size it and then I want the price. What is this site, a contractor finder? You can also go here to see information on an Adams & Kerr, which claims to be the most efficient oil furnace with a 95 percent AFUE. Adams Manufacturing and Spartan carry models with a 95 percent rating as well.
And the reason so much emphasis is placed on hiring a qualified contractor is because they are a very important component to the efficiency of the furnace. For repairs we also suggest hiring a qualified HVAC tech because furnaces can be dangerous to work on and are far more complicated than in the past. Having a relationship with a good, cost conscious HVAC tech is simply an important part of maintaining a furnace, unless of course you are qualified to do the work on your own.
Best.
To keep legal happy, let me just say that I am not an HVAC contractor, and you should never even look at your furnace without having a qualified, liability accepting HVAC contractor present.
