Heater work intermittently. It turns on ok, but sometimes the ignitor won't light.

Heater turns on, but ignitor does not light most of the time. Take cover off, manually press the switch. Seems to work each time you do that. Put cover back on. Wait awhile and turn on by termostat. Goes on, but will not ignite.
