How do I stop or drain condensatlion from the fire pot blower housing?

We have had this furnace nearly 20 years, at least 15. The problem started several years ago. See below for what I have tried to do to alleviate the problem

The furnace tends to recycle (stop and start) when the blower housing get too much condensation on the bottom. There is a drain plug, but quite a nuisance to have to drain it each time the furnace shuts down. If we don't drain it, the recycling starts the next time the furnace starts up. I could put a drain hose on the drain, but the door housing is higher than the drain and therefore keeps water in the housing.
