The second is how old is the furnace? If the furnace is nearing the end of its lifespan it may be a better idea to look at getting a new furnace rather than replace the blower.
There is also the issue of weather it is the control board or the motor. These can affect the cost as well. And then there is the cost for labor. One estimate I found said about $350 total, but I would not rely too heavily on that number.
