About Menomonie
The town of Menomonie is located in Dunn County, Wisconsin, on the banks of the Red Cedar River. It is situated next to the beautiful Lake Menomin. This former logging community, once nicknamed Queen of the Pinery, was settled in 1830. Menominee is one hour east of St. Paul, Minnesota. It is a popular locale for snowmobile enthusiasts, as well as skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking buffs. It is home to the Mabel Tainter Memorial Building, one of the area's most well-known landmarks.
