About Walla Walla

Located in southeastern Washington, Walla Walla is the county seat of Walla Walla County with a population of about 30,000. The average summer temperature is about 72 degrees, while the average winter temperature is around 35 degrees. The town is home to Walla Walla Community College and the Walla Walla Regional Airport. The Washington State Penitentiary is also located in Walla Walla; it's the largest prison in Washington.
