About Alderwood Manor

Alderwood Manor is located in Snohomish County, Washington. Alderwood is now known as the cities of Lynnwood, Brier, and Mountlake Terrace. At one time, Alderwood was a farming community and the residents traveled to and from Everett and Seattle by an Interurban Trolley System. Most of the history of Alderwood has disapeared over the years but you can still see some old buildings, including the Wickers Building which was the main grocery store from 1919 to the mid 60s. Alderwood Mall was built in 1979 and is one of Lynwood's biggest tourist attractions. The average temperatures for the area are in the 30s in the winter months and 70s in the summer months.
