About Radnor
The township of Radnor is located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It is an unincorporated suburb of Philadelphia. It was settled in the late 1600s and named after the Welsh town from which most of the original residents hailed, Radnorshire. These settlers were members of the Society of Friends, more commonly known as the Quakers. The land was originally part of the large tract owned by William Penn. In July temperatures may reach up to 86 degrees. During January, temperatures may dip down to lows of 25 degrees.
