Warren, Ohio is located in the Northeast part of Ohio, 50 miles southeast of Cleveland and 15 miles northwest of Youngstown. This city is located in the Mahoning Valley and has a population of 46,000. The lowest average monthly temperature occurs in January at 15 degrees and the highest in July at 83 degrees. The city was founded by Ephraim Quinby, who bought 441 acres of land from the Connecticut Land Company and named that land after Moses Warren, surveyor of the Western Reserve. Warren has three major employers: General Motors, Delphi Packard Electric Systems, and Youngstown Air Reserve Base (910th). Warren is Trumbull County’s largest city and county seat. Recently General Motors announced that the new Chevrolet Cobalt will be produced in the city.
