About Trotwood

The founder of Trotwood, Lewis Pfoutz, chose the name of Trotwood from a character in the Charles Dickens novel “David Copperfield." Trotwood is a city located in the southwestern part of Ohio in Montgomery County just six miles west of Dayton. As of 2006, there were 26,403 residents. The average temperatures can vary from 22 degrees in the winter (January) to 79 degrees in the summer (July).
